Hi, we’re Huub Hassink and Mark Rademaker, founders of Valmère.

We started Valmère with a simple idea: to create swimwear we actually wanted to wear ourselves. Swim shorts that feel premium, fit well, and don’t come with an unnecessary price tag. Luxury swimwear often felt overpriced and overly branded, while more affordable options lacked quality and detail, and Valmère was created to bridge that gap.

Inspired by the French Riviera, Valmère stands for understated style and quiet confidence. We focus on premium fabrics, refined fits and timeless designs made to last beyond a single summer, producing in smaller quantities and working directly with specialized manufacturers. Premium swim shorts, at a price that makes sense.
